Quantum Control User Group, QUE Group, Continues to break attendance records at its 10th Annual Conference in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA, August 20, 2015 Quantum User Exchange Group, or The QUE Group, recently wrapped up its 10th Annual Quantum Users Exchange Group conferenceheld in San Diego, CA. As in past years, the conference attendance has grown to break records each year as companies realize tremendous value from the focused learning and knowledge from industry experts that take employee skills and Component Controls Quantum ControlTM software ROI to a higher level.  This years conference provide presentations and learning experiences focused on the evolving challenges aviation businesses face in both local, and global markets, and across the enterprise from accounting to procurement, to inventory management and shop floor operations.

Ten years ago the QUE Group conference started as a small gathering of companies at the Component Control San Diego headquarters with the intention of sharing knowledge, learning from each other and collaborating with Component Control to improve the product for all users, said Paul Stewart, QUE Group President, Chief Technology Officer at Worthington Aviation, and presenter at the conference. Today, we have users attending the conference from seven or more countries representing every major sector of the Aviation Aftermarket Business.  Having elevated the conference to include collaboration with major industry associations such as the Aviation Suppliers Association (ASA) and the Aeronautical Repair Station Association (ARSA), the core mission remains intact to make aviation business run better through shared user knowledge. It is apparent the return on investment to attend this conference is significant, and this is demonstrated year over year through the expanded attendance, broader speaker base and overwhelming positive feedback. I am proud to have participated in this organization over the past 6 years and challenge the Quantum Control user base to continue their mission of operational and technological betterment by continuing to seek new and innovative ways to run their business.  Heres to another successful year for the QUE Group. Happy Tenth Anniversary.

The QUE Group is a Non Profit, independent company representing the Quantum Control Software user community, with over 300 registered members. Both members and non-members of QUE Group are encouraged to attend the conference to enrich the diversity of the learning experience. The QUE Group board, which manages the conference program, consists of technical and business executives from leading aviation service companies such as Embraer, America Aero Group, Honda Aircraft Company, Ansett Aircraft Spares & Services, Epps Aviation and more.

    http://arsa.org/documentary/

“You Can’t Fly Without Us: The World of Aviation Maintenance” is a documentary produced by ARSA.  The film was developed as part of the Leading Edge video series, which is hosted by former football coach and sports broadcaster Jimmy Johnson and distributed to public television stations in all 50 states.

Filmed on location at ARSA member facilities, “You Can’t Fly Without Us” is a valuable tool to educate key audiences about repair stations. In the seven-minute video, industry experts including former National Transportation Safety Board Chairman Mark Rosenker, CAVOK Vice President Chris Doan, ARSA Executive Vice President Christian Klein, and others explain:

    • How contract maintenance makes airlines more efficient and competitive.
    • How industry and government have worked together to achieve a historic safety record.
    • The industry’s substantial economic footprint.
    • Career opportunities in aviation maintenance.
    • The importance of small businesses.
    • ARSA’s role as the industry’s voice.

ARSA wants to make sure the documentary is seen by as many viewers as possible.  We want the public, the media, and policymakers to understand aviation maintenance better.  And we want current and future workers to understand that ours is a growing, thriving industry with great job opportunities.
