Sr. Business Analyst

AeroVision International, a leading supplier of regional aviation aircraft component support worldwide, is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to manage the ERP & information systems that support its business activities. 

This role reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for the creation and management of the information systems used for data management by Managers, Staff and Customers.  The Senior Business Analyst works collaboratively with members of AeroVision’s business segments (as internal clients) and acts as the primary point of contact with AeroVision’s parent company (LKQ Corporation) for external service or equipment providers related to IS / IT systems.  AeroVision uses Quantum ERP software (by Component Control) to run its business.  This position is located in AeroVision’s Muskegon, Michigan headquarters. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  1. Standardization and optimization of Quantum functionality across business units.
  2. Collaborate regularly with business unit leaders to streamline and continually improve processes.
  3. Write reports, documentation and operating manuals related to the IS / IT systems.
  4. Manage security measures and access levels in IT / IS systems within the business.
  5. Test and modify databases as required to ensure that they operate reliably.
  6. Provide and / or facilitate IS / IT system user training, support and feedback.
  7. Manage software / databases up to desired version level.
  8. Take lead in IS system database design and development
  9. Main point of contact with LKQ IT department on all technology needs.
  10. Oversee assessment of equipment needs and possible enhancements that would benefit the business.  Responsible for ordering of equipment through LKQ approved channels.
  11. Coordinate with LKQ related to the technical side of phone system, both land and cell.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL query and Crystal Reports.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent.  Quantum Control experience would be greatly valued.  Relevant related work experience with a demonstrated ability in database administration important.  Experience within the Aerospace marketplace would be very beneficial.

Other Qualifications

US Person (US Citizen or Perm Resident).

Must be capable of travelling up to 10% of the time: domestically and internationally; possess driver's license and be insurable with good driving record.
