Yes, Paul you make a great point, but in my opinion, I think that you should be able to Edit anything to begin with especially if you paid for the module.
Nothing frustrates me more than being nickel and dimed in any business. It would be nice to have everything all inclusive, including the upgrades. I sure hate to think how much company time I have spent trying to solve a problem every time I encountered a problem using Quantum. With that, this forum or I should say you, have definitely created a short cut to getting the answers that I need.

Thanks for the feed back. I knew header clauses were one option, but I didn’t want to go there. I guess in order for it to look clean as possible, I could have created it under a Parts Purchase to eliminate the Exchange Wording, and write in my own comments under the notes. Then switch it back to the Loan default, so that the same part number and serial number will be received back as the core.

So unless we have the Designer Moduel, I’m out of luck?

This is the main reason why I joined the forum. I managed to receive a response much quicker from someone who knows the system in one day through the forum than I ever did with CC.
It’s also frustrating who you get, luck of the draw I guess. There are some people who are taking on calls who have no business providing support. I understand you have to start somewhere, but why not funnel their support calls to people who are very familiar with certain modules rather than everyone having a general knowledge of all the modules. I can certainly name a few people from CC who I feel very privileged when I get connected to them where I feel almost guilty and need to leave a gratuity since they saved me from being on the horn for 30-60 minutes.

Yes – this would be nice. But, you could use the custom menus to create a shortcut to the document images icon to at least make it a single click for access.
Short cuts are great if you know that you need to go there, but I like the fact that the icon is used more as a tool that can be used as a visual or identifier informing the user that their is an attachment attached since not all work orders have attachments, at least yet.
Once again, thanks for the quick response. I’m starting to think what do you do at your company? They are very lucky to have an expert on site.

Ken – We do not have that, but its not a bad idea. We can certainly add it.
Take a look around the forums and see if you scrape up some useful stuff. We are always looking for more suggestions.
Is there a Search Tab? As a new user, I don’t want to be creating duplicating threads that have already been answered. By allowing to type in some key words, I should be able to find my answers on my own.
Job positing forum? Not that I will be looking for work, I hope not but whether someone is looking for work or need to hire additional staff, wouldn’t it be more convenient to post job openings on the forum? After all, the biggest hurdle has been achieved, they are already a Quantum user.

Hello Paul,
Thank you for the reply. As a new user, I’m surprised there isn’t a section on this forum where you allow new members to introduce themselves, similar to other forums. Or is there one and I just haven’t found it? I went into the Unclassified/Other forum but it was dead, maybe that can become the new member welcome section. Kind of getting off topic, but that’s alright, I’m the OP anyways.
