Hello are you using quantum locally? If you are you using quantum cloud it’s common. You need to use the zebra driver and not the windows generic driver.

We use just notepad to edit the templates. On emgr make a copy ot the event and export the templates and modify in notepad.

Hi terra. I always delete the old event and re add when playing with custom intervals. Could be a problem with the report looping and not letting you change it. See if it helps you delete it and re add. Thx p

Just make sure you scan the docs in before you receive the inventory. It should transfer to the stockline. Thx pietro

Hi leo. I added It to the receiving module window. This way your receiving folks can input it and then it populates the parts master. If there already is one there it populates for the user to see. Takes a little work but it’s the best way I have Found to get these numbers into the system

try changing your default printer to something else

If you print to pdf and then to printer does it work. Also is it just this printer ? I have had issue with the rastor settings on printers. Are you using actually Ricoh driver or windows driver ?

Usually the output of crystal report is pdf or excel. How are you getting a rpt format? This is usually the report crystal format that can’t be opened or printed without crystal reports. Thx p

Terra if you use quantum analytics(if they still sell it) you need to use their interface. Outside connections will still count against your licenses You can create a small data center and draw data into it and then connect power bi to that db. Thx p

David. Some type of RDP is the only way to go. Quantum’s client is thick and just cannot be connected directly over a WAN.

The replacement is quantum worker which uses Java to run event manager. So out of the frying pan and into the fire.

The imaging comments are under upgrades section. Started when 12.x came out. The images are untouched. Just encrypted so you can’t use them as before and need to purchase additional licensing.

There is a company approval function in event manager that uses a date and type but it is very limited. I would create a image type and use the expiry field to auto generate a request for a new doc. Custom sql script should work

You folks really need to separate your server into two. One database and one with app and peripherals.

Log4j is for the event manager mailer. In 12.3 and 12.4. It is not used anymore. Quantum worker takes over from here

Jesse. CC is requiring the purchase or a new license to continue to use the imaging as you did before. Search the doc imaging section her on Que group to what others have done
I would split the quantum set up into two servers. One for the oracle db and the other for tomcat and Java and all the other quantum peripherals. Have web services on a db server is not oracle best practice Thx pietro -

Hi jeff there are a few statues to emgr. Generated means the ent was created. Forwarded means the document was created and emailed. In the case of the work order invoice it is created by runner and then sent. look on the server emgr folder and look in the sub folder mail. There is a log file that shows errors. This should start you on your way. Pietro

In the end I figured out that easy print on the rdp server cannot be used. If you disable in group policy and make sure the actual zebra driver is set then viola the labels work correctly. Glad that project is over

Craig. You make different statuses that print for different warehouses. Pickticket_Dallas for instance would print to their remote printer and if you have event manager it can notify them. Something like that.

Without event manager you can use visual cut to run John’s script or just a batch file. The event manager script it only good for one type per company.

Scott on the shipping notification event click on images and add stock images and the type. That will do it. Also make a folder like c:images%SM_NUMBER%
and a threshold if the file gets to big it will email someone and put them all in this folder

Open hKey current user registry settings and go to syswow64 and delete component control registry key. Restart quantum

At one point quantum had a Switch to not allow more than one login per user. It was removed. I built A script a while ago to kill a connection when. A the same user tries to login. Again if you want it let me know. Thx p

If you try so_number instead of the auto key it works the old way. Strange.

You can alter the stock balance sheet doc and exclude zero balances or historical accounts.

I have Seen this before. Check to see if the connection transaction is being blocked by another. Also when a huge amount of memory is being used the changes just float in memory until it has time to commit. For fun shutdown the database after changes and see if it commits. Thx p
