SAN DIEGO, CA, March 27, 2014 – Quantum User Exchange Group, or The QUE Group, announced today it will donate 10% of sponsorship and registration proceeds from its upcoming 9th Annual Quantum Users Exchange Group conference to the Air Charity Network. The QUE Group conference will be held in San Diego, CA, July 16 - 18, 2014.
This year’s conference theme, ‘Be A Quantum Leader’, was chosen to exemplify the user community’s skill and commitment in leveraging Quantum to lead operations and businesses to higher success. The QUE Group is expanding its theme to include nationwide community leadership that supports aviation’s finest in their mission to help those in need.
Alan Dias, Chair of the Air Charity Network ( A CN) said – “We appreciate the QUE Group supporting our mission of getting people from where they are to where they need to be in response to non-emergency medical and other compelling reasons. Each year the non-profit organizations that make up A CN arrange thousands of flights provided by private pilots and commercial partners who donate all costs related to these flights. The cost for arranging and publicizing our mission is covered by partnerships with organizations like the QUE Group. It’s an example of how all those involved in aviation can give back and is much appreciated.”
“Its an honor to support the Air Charity Network through our annual conference giving all of the members and sponsors an opportunity to support an organization that has helped thousands of people reach critical medical care,” said Paul Stewart, QUE Group President, Chief Technology Officer at Worthington Aviation, and presenter at the conference. “As we continue to grow QUE Group and our collective knowledge of aviation best practices, we also want to do our part to show stewardship and give back to the larger community that benefits from what aviation can offer in their lives.”
As in past years, the annual QUE Group Conference will showcase real-world challenges and solutions, presented by experts from the Aviation Industry who use Quantum Control™ for efficiently managing all aspects of an aviation services business, and by industry specialists from the U.S. Government and the Component Control staff. The QUE Group conference will include presentations, case studies, panel discussions and software demonstrations that include business and operational topics such as export regulation and control reform, consignment management, cloud computing considerations and functionality, EDI integration, shop control management, utilizing private networks to manage distribution tiers, using social media tools to enhance online sales, and more.
Both members and non-members of QUE Group are encouraged to attend the conference to enrich the diversity of the learning experience. The QUE Group board, which manages the conference program, consists of technical and business executives from leading aviation service companies such as Embraer, America Aero Group, Honda Aircraft Company, Ansett Aircraft Spares & Services, Epps Aviation and more.
