    Update:
    Patch was loaded 2 days ago and we emailed tech support letting them know that the bug persists. We’ve not heard anything back.
    Our financial discrepancy is getting larger.

    Yes, I have emailed component control with all the feedback and waiting to hear back.

    Hello Craig,

    We just got Mobile Receiving installed today. We had to upgrade to version QC12.3.10 to get it compatible with our Quantum

    Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like it will work out for us and we will need to return it for our money back, or get a credit. Here is why:

    The app does not have these essential fields that are needed for our receiving process:

    Consignment

    Traceable To

    Tag By

    Tag Date

    We are a repair shop, so the majority of the items we book in are customer repairs. The app does not allow us to create the WO, rather everything that is received using the app goes into ‘unknown receipts’ regardless of there being a PO/RO/WO.

    It was faster for us to use the receiver module in Quantum, as we had the ability to select CW or WO and have the WO created at the time of receiving the unit. This would be the same if you were booking in an item onto a PO or RO, the app doesn’t give you the option. All items go into unknown receipts. There is a search feature for ‘Receipts’ but it is not working, we assume it means that we would have to create a receiver first for the search for find, but even in doing so, it didn’t work and this actually defeats the purpose of having the app. The app also requires there to be an Airway bill and many times we don’t have an airways bill to enter, but it is required in order to select ‘next’ which we thought was odd.

    With the mobile app, we lost functionality and our booking in process is no longer streamlined, it would now take longer as we would have to link every order to the ‘unknown receiver’ and then go to the stock line and fill out the trace field, consignment, tag by, tag date, customs entry fields that weren’t’ available on the app. With high volumes of orders coming in, this just isn’t practical.
