I have expressed interest in seeing a Quantum bridge for Quickbooks online. I have been using QB Enterprise for years, and it is over kill for what we need.
I am happy to hear CC is considering moving in this direction.

Josh, I see on the agenda for the Que Group conference there seems to be mention on an online Quickbooks integration. I am curious as to what this phase two entails.

Paul, I have been giving consideration to the document imaging module. I was under the impression any scanner such as NeatScanner, would work in conjunction with Quantum. Is that not the case? We have two offices that are separated by 4,000 miles, so remote scanning is becoming more of a necessity. We have been attaching documents to Quickbooks files for accounting, but would prefer attaching copies of FAA 8130’s and manufacturer certs to the actual Quantum inventory.

Spencer,We have had a banner ad with Partsbase and Stock Market.Aero.
Brand awareness is always a useful too, but I don’t think the ad has done much for us in general. It might be create a different outcome for you.

I would like to extend a word of caution Paul in your discussions with ILS.
ILS is a part of Aviall, which competes against many of the Quantum users like Worthington and companies like mine. ILS has stated in the past that they engage in sophisticated data mining. Now, call me overly concerned but I dont think that all of the Quantum users should have their live Stockmarket.Aero inventory accessble to data mining by the largest parts distributor on the planet. A simple look at Aviall’s public discussions as far back as 2001 state that ILS is engaged in this type of behavior.

Member07/13/2011 at 7:12 PM in reply to: INVENTORY MANAGEMENT BASED ON SALES FORECASTIrina,I do agree with you on the need for some sort of forecasting module. We have had to resort to creating spreadsheets to dictate product levels based off of product line and warehouse location. Maybe at some point we will have to look into Crystal Reports also, but I tire of learning yet another software program..

Thank you for your input Paul.

I think the most useful and simplest option would be for Quantum to roll out an Android and Ipad app that made stockmarket.aero easier to navigate on your phone. I have the storefront module on my company website, which I can look at through remote desktop connection on my laptop. It works on my Droid phone, but it is pretty bulky. Frequently, I just want to check stock availability. That is a handy thing to have when your sales force is mobile.
The QueGroup conference had a great presentation on future options, but I am hopeful that we will see some options sooner rather than later.

Paul, regarding the manufacturers discount (in the individual part detail),I want to ask your suggestion on how to provide more than one customer discount per manufacturer. In the part detail, the manufacturers discount provides one column for manufacturer discount off list, and another column for customer’s discount off list.
What we are faced with, is one class of customer may get 40 percent of ACME tire list, while another may get 46% off ACME tire list. Any suggestions please…
