Hi Craig,

If you are not using the barcode module to check tools in an out, you must delete the reservation to close the job card. Go to TOOLS> CHECK IN / OUT > delete the tool line from the top portion of the reservation window. You will then be able to close the job card.

There is also a flag in work order set up, control “Allow Tool Reservations for closed tasks”. Not sure that is the correct solution but it is an option.

Here are the notes for the help manual:

“The tool must be checked in (or unreserved) before closing the work order. Simply select Tool Reserve at the bottom of the Work Order window and delete the selected stock line.

If you have the bar code module, you may check tools in and out via the bar code scanner.”
